Helium-cooled TRISO-fueled high-temperature gas test reactor at Utah San Rafael Energy Research Center. Valar achieved cold criticality Nov 2025; DOE confirmed full criticality June 18, 2026, then ran the unit at ~37% capacity (100 kWth) to power an NVIDIA DGX Spark — the first HTGR to directly supply an AI compute load.
